Karkala: Daya Nayak Exhorts Students to Strive to Build Nation

Karkala, Aug 28: Police officer from Mumbai Daya Nayak advised the college students to use their strength for the development of the country through nation-building activities, without restricting their mite to holding of protests and demonstrations. The students also need to strive to achieve excellence in studies, he said.

Speaking after inaugurating the students union of Bhuvanendra College here on Wednesday August 27, he said that honesty and hard work should be their watch word. The students need to shy away from using dubious routes to achieve something in life and to dedicate their positive qualities for the welfare of the country, he stressed.

Retired principal of the college Prof S Govind Prabhu presided. Degree college principal Prof Padmanabh Gowda, PU college principal Vijaya Kumari and third B Sc student Pramila Jain extended good wishes to the students union. Student Welfare Officer Y Pandurang Nayak administered oath to the class leaders.
