Udupi: Photo Sessions for Voters ID in District Begin Aug 28

Udupi, Aug 28: The union directorate of election commission and chief electioneering officer, Bangalore, will begin conducting photo sessions for voter’s identity cards in the district, for its five legislative assembly constituencies beginning Thursday, August 28, to Tuesday, September 30.

Accordingly, those voters who desire to add, delete, or rectify, their names, are requested to submit the prescribed forms available at digital photo lamination centres. Those who have no photo identity cards yet, those who have lost their cards, and those who wish to incoporate changes in their cards, are urged to approach the centres.

For Byndoor, the photo sessions will be held from Thursday, August 28, to Thursday, September 4, while in Kundapur it will be from Thursday, August 28, to Tuesday, September 9, and in Udupi from Thursday, September 11, to Wednesday, September 17. In Kaup, it will be from Thursday, September 18, to Monday, September 22, and in Karkala from  Wednesday, September 24, to Monday September 29, stated the press release from deputy commissioner (DC) Hemalata P.
