Mangalore: Fishermen Urge Govt to Clear Silt at Harbour

Mangalore, Aug 27: Mangalore Troll Boat Fishermen's Association has urged the government to start silt removing work immediately at Fisheries Harbour here.

Speaking in Annual General Meeting of the Association, president B Sitharama Suvarna discussed various problems of fisheries with the members of Association. The meeting also decided to meet officials concerned to hold talk regarding the development of Mangalore Fisheries Development Harbour.

Association's general secretary Nithish Kumar welcomed the gathering. Harishchandra Mendan proposed vote of thanks.
