Puttur, Aug 25: A two-day taluk-level rural and Dasara sports meet will be held here from Saturday, September 13.  The meet is being organized by the youth service and sports department for the year 2008–09, stated their press release.

School students below the age of 16, from rural areas, can attend the meet which will be held at Sri Gopalakrishna High School, Bilinele. The members of youth and women's sports clubs, both pre-university and college students, can take part in the Dasara sports meet.
