Mangalore: RTO Sadashiv Transferred to Bangalore

Mangalore, Aug 25: Regional Transport Officer Sadasiv has been transferred to Bangalore as per the order from the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal. He has been transferred four times consecutively for past two years.

He had filed a complaint in Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) 11 months ago challenging his transfer order from the government. Now KAT has ordered the government to transfer him to Bangalore after hearing a petition.

Sadashiv served in Nelamangala, Koppala, Bangalore Jyanabharathi and Mangalore for past two years. According to the government order 2005, an official should work for two years at one particular place except in the case of public complaint and request. According to the order he had filed a complaint against consecutive transfer order.

Meanwhile Sadashiv was given a farewell from his office on Saturday August 23.
