Sullia, Au 23: The body of the retired manager of Nellyadi Service Cooperative Bank Shirady branch K Shivanand (56), who had disappeared under mysterious circumstances two weeks ago, was found from Patrame Maniyeru Koodye on Friday August 22.
He had not returned after leaving his home that morning for a walk and search operations launched by the family and villagers had not yielded any fruits. His decomposed body was found from Kapila river on Friday morning. He is supposed to have been a victim of flash floods. The body was identified with the help of his family members.
Nellyadi police are investigating.
