Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Aug 14: The local police station received a phone call in the wee hours on Wednesday August 13, that a parcel containing bomb had been found in the local bus stand.

The policemen rushed to the spot and picked up a parcel found near a shop. The unclaimed baggage was neatly packed and found to be heavy. They also sent message to anti naxal force.

A few minutes later, a head constable belonging to anti naxal force picked up courage and slowly moved his fingers inside, as nothing was visible in the darkness. He found the object to be very cold. After they flashed light on the parcel, they realised that a python was lying inside the packet.

Some miscreants had placed the parcel containing the python and called up the policemen. The python was later handed over to a person named Snake Joy from Ujire, for being released into Somantadka forests.
