Mangalore, Aug 11: After a city bus hit an autorickshaw on the night of August 10 near Talapady on national highway 17, the rickshaw driver died.
A city bus running on route No.43 hit the rickshaw, injuring the driver gravely. Arrangements were made to take him to a private hospital in the city but he succumbed to injuries before reaching the hospital.
Traffic on the road was blocked as a result. Ullal police came on the scene and arranged to clear the road for traffic. As the accident spot belongs to Kerala, a case has been registered at Manjeshwar police station.
