Mangalore: MRPL–ONGC Unit Markets Aviation Turbine Fuel Nationally

Mangalore, Aug 8: The Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL)–Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC) aviation fuel unit located at Kuttettoor, released aviation turbine fuel (ATF) into   the national market, recently. The fuel has been blended with technical collaboration from Shell Oil.

R Rajamani,chief executive officer, MRPL, after releasing the ATF, said that the unit of Shell–MRPL Aviation Fuels and Services Private Ltd, aims to release 9,000 kiloliters of ATF. The delivery of ATF to Hyderabad, and Bangalore, will begin soon and the capacity of blending will be increased as per demand, he added.

MRPL processing unit officers P P Upadhyaya, C K Ittaya, V K Bhatnagar, and Sanjay Varkey, chief executive officer, Shell–MRPL Aviation Fuels and Services Private Limited, were amongst those present.
