Chitradurg: Renovated Church of Infant Jesus Inaugurated at Challakere

Chitradurg, Aug 6: The inaugural function of the renovated Challakere (Chitradurga) church of Infant Jesus was organized recently.

The newly-built presbitory was inaugurated by Hiriyoor church priest Fr J B Castelino while the Grotto of Mother Mary was inaugurated by Fr Yesurakshakanathan. Bishop Jerald Isac Lobo of Shimoga celebrated the Solemn Eucharist on the occasion.

Several priests, sisters and a large gathering of devotees took part in the Holy Eucharist. Parish priest Fr George Lobo welcomed. Fr Roman Pinto conducted the programme.
