Udupi: Padmapriya Death Case - Special CoD Investigation Team Formed

Udupi, Aug 6: The state government has handed over the case involving the mysterious disappearance and subsequent death of Padmapriya, wife of MLA K Raghupati Bhat, to the state Corps of Detectives (CoD). A special investigation team has been formed by the COD for the purpose.

Superintendent of police K L Yogappa will lead this special investigation team. DySP Govindaiah will function as the investigating officer.

The other officials in the team are DySP Subhaschandra (H & B Squad), circle police inspector Lakshminarayan and sub-inspector Vivekanand.
