Mangalore, Aug 6: Outstanding students who had scored good marks in the public examinations such as SSLC, PUC, Degree, and other professional courses were felicitated at the Suratkal Sacred Heart Church on Sunday August 3.
Fr Antony Lobo, parish priest, honoured the students by presenting them with a memento. Peter Paul D'Souza, vice-president, parish council, and Roydon Roche, secretary, parish council, were present on the occasion.
George Ligoury D'Souza, president,Catholic Sabha welcomed the gathering while Gretta Pinto, secretary, Catholic Sabha, proposed the vote of thanks. Dony Suares, Month D'Souza, J P Pinto, Victor D'Souza and Jossy D'Silva, office-bearers were also present.
