Patna: Dr Shraddha of Muniyal Ayurveda presents paper on ‘Buddhaayurved’

Media Release

Patna, Feb 9: Dr Shraddha V Shetty, director, Muniyal Ayurveda was invited to present a paper at Buddhism and Globalization seminar at Bodhgaya, Bihar on Febrauary 1. The topic of her presentation was ‘Buddhaayurved - An unknown connection’.

With the intent to revive and continue the legacy of propagating ayurveda which thrived during Buddha’s period, the chairman of Muniyal Ayurveda Dr M Vijayabhanu Shetty has developed the innovative concept of Buddhaayurved. Buddhaayurvedic treatment procedures combine core principles of Buddhism and ayurveda to address global health issue. The concept of Buddhaayurved has inspired the organization immensely to create effective lines of treatment for challenging diseases and enabled it to reduce suffering. Some of the global health issues for which treatment procedures have been developed are Cancer, Auto Immune diseases, Cardiac disorders, AIDs etc.

Mahoshadha Kalpa is a multidimensional ayurvedic line of treatment for cancer that has been developed based on the doctrines explained by Buddha. Abnormal division of cell leads to cancer. The exact cause for such a rapid and uncoordinated cell division is not explained by today’s medical science. Buddha explains ‘intelligence is not only present in the brain but also in millions of body cells’. From this we have come to understand that disturbance in cellular intelligence can cause cancer. To correct this disturbance and awaken cellular intelligence, an integrated and holistic approach is necessary which improves the overall health and brings about a strong sense of well-being in patients. This will bring about positive reinforcement both in the mind and body of the patient. This understanding forms the crux of Mahoshadha Kalpa treatment.

More than 500 people have received the Mahoshadha Kalpa treatment and the results have been highly encouraging. This treatment has provided complete cure in several cases of thyroid cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, lung cancer and lymphomas.

The seminar was attended by noted national and international delegates and was conducted over a period of three days from January 30 to February 1.
