Cash for Votes - Another CD Surfaces - This Time to Defend UPA

New Delhi, Aug 5: Reflecting on the new realities in the political firmament in the run-up to the general elections, leaders of three rival parties — the SP, the RJD, and the LJP — came together on Monday to release a fresh CD to claim that the BJP had ‘stage-managed’ the ‘cash for votes’ scam during the trust vote for political gains.

Addressing a joint press conference, Mulayam Singh, Lalu Prasad, Ram Vilas Paswan and Amar Singh chorused: “Look who is the thief?”

Claiming that the CD had come in an envelope to Amar Singh’s residence, Mulayam Singh said all the claims of the BJP leaders had been proved wrong.

“BJP leaders understood that they would not get a majority in parliament on July 22. So they did this to make it an issue for the elections,” he said.

Alleging that BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley had a crucial role in the scam, Mulayam Singh said, “We are shocked that a person like Arun Jaitley would do something like this, this is equal to hiding crime.”

“When some people allegedly visited the BJP MPs’ house to deliver money, why was it not handed over to the police? Finger printing tests could have led to some evidence,” he said.

Coming to the rescue of Amar Singh, Paswan said, “BJP leaders claim they received a call asking them to come in the morning. But why did they go? Why didn’t they get them arrested and call up the Lok Sabha Speaker when the men came to give them the money?”

Lalu Prasad reiterated his demand for a narco-analysis of the three BJP MPs and said there was no evidence in the CD that proved the involvement of Amar Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s political secretary Ahmed Patel.

The CD shows sting operations on Faggan Singh Kulaste, one of the three BJP MPs allegedly approached with bribe, and Sanjiv Saxena, who had earlier worked with the SP.

Amar Singh said Saxena had never worked with him and was with Shahid Siddiqui who joined the BSP recently. The CD was presented to Kishore Chandra Dev Committee.

You might not be aware when Ataljee was our PM, he sanctioned major portion of the amount to the Mecca Pilgrims - Ajay, Bangalore. Ajay, providing funds for pilgrimage perhaps for the sake of Vote bank. If at all BJP was secular minded then there wouldn't have been so many incidents happened to the minorities, Dalits or other religious believers, which is still happenning in BJP ruled states.

I am not saying it is not happenning in other states, but BJP is showing deaf ears and blind eyes. So many vandalism happened when BJP coalition came to power in Karnataka with the mercy of JDS, has anyone caught and or tried. Even if they are caught, just to show the world, they have been released without any punishment.

Suppose if I had to do the same to the followers of BJP, I would have considered danger to the society and even a terrorist. Living peacefully is fine, but many and specially politicians do not understand it. Even if they understand, they do not wish it because if we start living peacefully then politicians do not benefit much.

Also, what we see & hear about Cash for vote, it is the politicans game to fool the voters. Only when the truth comes (?) out we will know who is the actual culprit. If you ask me, I would say it is the game of BJP, why? Congress said even if they had to lose trust vote, they are ready to sit in the opposition but India loses a good opportunity.

What happened in Karnataka. BJP literally bought the MLAs by paying money, not to mention that this money came from Bellary - robbing our own state. To gain power BJP can do anything. Atalji was PM and during his time Gujarat was burning, a classic example of BJP trying to be secular!!!! Shame on these people, if they had good intents they would have called cops instead of taking the money and showing it off in the parliament.

It is pity to know that our MPs instead of working for the development of their constituency and the country as a whole, they are trying to defame the name of one another. It is a shame for such a big democratic country. Everybody is putting stone sitting inside a glasss chamber shame MP's.
