Panaji, Aug 4: A murder mystery in the State is in the cyber space with the family members commissioning a website to get justice for their 30-year-old youth, who was found dead at Farmhouse in state's Canacona taluka.

The website entirely devoted to the murder mystery of Dominic Coutinho has become the first such instance in the state to use the internet to expose State police's reluctance to register the case as murder.

"We thought of creating awareness about the case through cyberspace so that we can garner more support for the cause of justice," Abel Barretto, Dominic’s relative, who has hosted the website, stated.

The website www.goamurdermystery.com has listed the circumstances under which Dominic died and how police were allegedly irresponsible in the investigations.

Dominic’s body was found at farmhouse at remote taluka of Canacona on July 21 and subsequently it was exhumed at the instance of state administration on July 25 to conduct the second autopsy on it.

"We are waiting for the viscera report as the postmortem report does not indicate anything suspicious in the matter," superintendent of police (south) Shekhar Prabhudesai said.

The SP said that the investigations in the death case are right on the track. "We have not registered the case as death but still we are recording the statements," Prabhudesai said.

The family members, including Domnic's brother, are not satisfied with the police investigations and want it to be handed over to the crime branch.

"There is enough evidence pointing out that the case is of murder. Police are ignoring them. We have published everything on the website," Barretto said.

The police officials said that they are considering the demand to hand over the case to crime branch. "I will be discussing the case with the inspector general of police," Prabhudesai said.

The website, which was launched on Saturday evening, received 1,200 hits within 24 hours and 20 people left their comments, all against the police system.

The police instead of trying to investigate the murder are trying to convince Domnic's mother and suporters that Domnic had a fall from a tree and when he crawled back to the house the injuries on his body took place.

Dear Investigating officer are you a Doctor? or a coverup agent specially recruited by Goa Police to convert murders ,homicidal death into suicides and heart attack , kidney failure, liver bust ... the list is endless.

Wake up My dear Goans it could be your loved one next in the murder coverup list. you are in danger especially if you own a piece of land in Goa.

Having read above news from your esteemed site, I want to make some thing more clear, Mr, Prabudesai is now on board the ship of murders, because I was in India for Dominic's funeral and was personally present at his office and discused the scinario as what must have happened, he took personal responsibility to look into this case, I thought he was honest at that time, because he told us that he will send quepem Police to investigate into this matter, which he probably did, which was actually was too late, and now to coverup his team he passes such comments just sitting in his cozy office that it does'nt look like murder.

On what basis does he think so, why in the first instance did'nt his police when contacted on 21st July to when they collected Body of DOminic they now take vital evidence like finger prints from the site, or stools sample from the bathroom, Dominic Had passed stools on the skirting of the bathroom rather than on the floor itself, or in the toilet with was only half a meter away, why they did'nt take the reliance telephone as evidence to recover data if he had tried to contact anyone in distress? what about his clothes?

Remember his was found naked his clothes were missing, what about finger prints on the main door, they did'nt take any of these, this can tell how incompetantt Mr Prabudesai's police force are.  Now he is working over time to cover his incompetent police force.  This is for people of Goa to know what and how much qualified these people are? I know they now will be against us as we family members has exposed their corrupt gang. but we still trust in people of Goa, because Democracy is of the People, for the People.... these people think Govenkar are drunkards they only talk when they are high, its high time Goans, just in the pretext of Dominic Murder.Open your real you! be a patriotic GOankar! wakeup this can happen to you any time.. this is a wakeup call. God bless us all!

This is sheer torture to the family members of Dominic Coutinho's . The police department involved in this torture should be ashamed of themselves, is this why they give an oath to give justice to the innocent.I can understand the grief of the family for losing their loved one and adding to this the torture from the police is really unaccceptable.

Let the police think in human norms and understand that Gods justice is the ultimate one. Let them once involved in this cruel activity fear God and carry on their duties with an sensible approach.May Domninic's soul RIP.
