Blast in Kolkata : 2 Dead, Several Injured

Kolkata, Aug 3: Breaking news received at daijiworld.com confirms a blast in Shobha Bazar area North Kolkata at 7.pm IST.

It is not known whether this blast is also similar to recent Bangalore and Ahmadabad serial blasts.

Latest:

The actual source of the blast is being investigated. Weather it was a bomb or a gas cylinder is not known yet. Some reports state that 2 children have died in the blast.

DCP P.K. Ghosh says that the situation now is under control.

This is the latest in series of blasts in India after Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Surat. Kolkata had earlier been identified as a target for attacks by the group responsible for the Ahmadabad blasts.
