Mangalore: Another Suitcase Bomb!

DHNS

Mangalore, Aug 2: When the Central market’s “suitcase bomb” incident is still alive in the minds of people, the recovery of one more suitcase at Pandeshwar in the city on Friday night, caused apprehension among the public.

Some people spotted a suitcase in front of a retail mall near Srinivas College, and informed the police immediately. Police arrived; sniffer dogs were pressed into action; experts examined. Curious people also started gathering in large numbers.

When the drama was going on, a physician came out of the mart and claimed the ownership of the suitcase. Police opened the same only to find some dental equipment. The dentist said he had to leave the suitcase there as no bags were allowed inside.
