Mangalore: Pilikula to Get Two Elephants Including Naughty Rajendra

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (MM/SP)

Mangalore, Jul 31: Pilikula Nisargadhama, located at Vamanjoor in the outskirts of the city, will be getting two elephants soon. This initiative has been taken to attract more tourists to Pilikula.

Rajendra and Kapile, who are at Sakrebail elephant camp which is located in Shimoga district, will be brought here soon. Earlier, Rajendra was staying in the premises of Kollur temple. But his mischievous activities proved to be a headache for the temple management there. Later he was sent to Sakrebail camp.

Rajendra did not remain quiet in Sakrebail camp too. Once he pulled the tourists’ vehicle into the stream and started chasing the mahout. Finally he was sent to the forest for more than a year.

Now he has been given an opportunity to stay in Pilikula. It would be interesting to see whether he will continue with his mischievous acts in Pilikula or behave decently.
