M'lore: Dr Kusumkar Hebbar Nominated to Board of Governors of APRIA

Dr C Kusumkar Hebbar, faculty of commerce, Mangalore University College, has been nominated to the board of governors of the Asia-Pacific Risk and Insurance Association (APRIA). His term will be for three years.


The APRIA is an international association consisting of scholars from the Asia-Pacific region as well as Europe and North America.  The association deals with insurance, social science, and other related issues for research.

APRIA also funds the insurance industries.  During his tenure, Dr Hebbar will represent India in all the international conferences.  He is also entrusted with the powers to organize such a conference in India.
 
Dr Hebbar’s research articles have been published in both national and international journals.  He has also published books of international standard and successfully guided five students to their doctoral degrees.  He is also the recipient of several awards for his contributions in the field of commerce and economics.
