Mangalore, Jul 18: A press release by tahsildar and returning officer for the Kannada Sahitya parishat election Raju Mogaveera stated, that the election to the central committee and district committees of the parishat will be held from 8 am to 4 pm on August 24.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, current incumbent of the district Kannada Sahitya Parishat, filed his nomination papers on Tuesday July 16.
