Bantwal, Jul 3: The convention of local unit of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) was held at Infant Jesus Church, Modankap here recently.

The convention was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Fr Leslie D'Souza, professor of St Joseph's Seminary, Jeppu, Mangalore.



The youths were given a detailed talk on the leadership qualities to be instilled by ICYM members, in order to lead successful life in their future. 

Fr Roque D'Sa, parish priest of Bantwal, Fr Uday Joseph fernandes, assistant priest of Bantwal, Ruben Frank, vice president of ICYM Bantwal unit, Richard D'Souza, secretary, Sunil Lewis, ICYM animator, were present on the dais.

James Monteiro, ICYM president welcomed the gathering.  Ashika Monteiro, ICYM secretary proposed vote of thanks.

Donald D'Souza, ICYM member compered the programme.
