Mangalore: Renowned Muslim Scholar T H Ibrahim Madani Passes Away

Mangalore, Jun 27: Al Haj T H Ibrahim Madani Ustad (57), well-known Muslim scholar and general secretary of Karnataka State Sunni Ulema Union,who was serving as the chief priest of Manjanadi mosque for the last 12 years, died of cardiac arrest at a private hospital in the city at about 6.15 am on Thursday June 26. He is survived by wife, four daughters and four sons. He was admitted into the intensive care unit of the hospital after the cardiac arrest.

He was a resident of Tekkar in Beltangady taluk. He was a pet student of Tajul Ulema Sayyed Abdurrahman Al Bukhari Ullal, after studying with whom he got his religious degree. T H Ustad, as he was popularly known, had also worked as secretary and Mudarris of various organizations and mosques.

Cremation was conducted in front of 'Madinatul Munavvara' an orphanage being run under his guidance at Tekkar, Uppinangady.

Karnataka State Sunni Jamiyyatul Ulema, Sunni Youth Federation, Madanis Association, Beltangady taluk Sunni United Jamaat and various organizations and leaders have condoled the death of T H Ibrahim Madani.
