Mangalore, Jun 26: A student, frustrated over his repeated academic failures, committed suicide by hanging himself on Wednesay June 25.

Sachin (17), son of Vithal from Kolachikambla village in Mulki, a student of Mulki Gerukatte government PU college, had failed in his first pre-university examination and appeared for supplementary. Finding out from the result announced on Wednesday that he had again failed in two subjects, he chose to end his life. No one was at his house when he committed suicide.
