Mangalore: Truck Carrying Sand Turns Turtle - Traffic Affected

Mangalore, Jun 25: Traffic was disrupted on  national highway 17 near Ullal brigde, after  a tipper lorry turned turtle on Wednesday June 25.

The tipper lorry was carrying sand from Netravati River. Long queue of vehicles was formed on the National Highway 17 owing to this accident. The sand that got scattered all over the road from the tipper lorry, proved to be a hurdle for the movement of vehicles.

As a consequence, Ullal and Kankanady police had to struggle for hours to clear the road for traffic. The long queue of traffic was cleared after removing the sand from the road.
