Beltangady: Five Injured in Two Separate Accidents

Beltangady, Jun 23: Two persons named Kempanna (55) and his son Nandakumar(5), both pilgrims from Bangalore, were injured after a motor bike driven by a local hit them at Dharmasthala near here. Both have been admitted into a private hospital in Ujire.

In the other incident, bike rider Peter and pillion rider Vasant Naik besides a pedestrian named Ponnappa (53) working as peon in survey department, were injured after the bike hit Ponnappa at Santhekatte near here and fell to the ground. Peter with serious injuries, was later shifted to a hospital in Mangalore.

Beltangady police have registered separate cases.
