Mangalore, Jun 19: A girl named Shakuntala (23), a graduate residing near Boliyar Maji Site,who was continuing her computer education in an institute, committed suicide on Wednesday afternoon. It is said, that her father had chided her for conversing with a few boys and ordered her not to attend computer classes. Frustrated, she committed suicide by hanging herself.
Prakash (42) from Moodushedde near here, committed suicide due to penury. He was a labourer, unable to get any work for the last few days. He was finding it hard to educate his three daughters. He was found hanging from a wooden beam in the kitchen roof.
Kavoor police have registered a case.
