Udupi, Jun 16: The Sediyapu Krishna Bhat Award instituted by the Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai Samshodhana Kendra was presented to writer N. Balasubrahmanya here on Sunday.
Speaking after receiving the award, Prof. Balasubrahmanya said litterateurs such as the late Sediyapu Krishna Bhat and the late Govinda Pai had rendered invaluable contribution to Kannada literature. It was necessary to follow the good traditions laid down by great litterateurs, he said.
