Udupi: Bike Rider Loses Life in a Collision with Rickshaw

Udupi, Jun 15: In an accident involving an autorickshaw and a motor bike on Saturday night near Permapalli church of Shivalli village, Raghavendra(24) from Puttur, who was riding the bike, breathed his last.

Raghavendra was riding the bike with his friends Sathish and Vadiraj in the pillion, to Manipal from Ambagilu. An autorickshaw coming from the direction of Manipal hit the bike. Both the vehicles fell down. Raghavendra, who was gravely injured, died before he could be shifted to a hospital. Rickshaw driver and the two pillion riders are being treated at the KMC Hospital Manipal as in-patients.
