B’lore: Fr Menezes Explores Relation Between Bible and Astrology in New Book

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore (MR/CN)

Bangalore, Jun 14: Is there any connection between astrology and the Bible? This question is clearly discussed in the Konkani book ‘Kalchem, Aichem, Faleanchem’ written by Fr Santhosh Menezes Capuchin.

The author, an experienced counselor and erudite scholar in diverse fields such as social sciences, and psychology, has lucidly explained the connection between astrology and the scriptures in his own inimitable style.

As Dr Na D’Souza rightly points out in his foreword, this is indeed a valuable addition to Konkani literature. The flow of the language, the alliterations, all make for pleasant reading though the topic discussed is deeply profound and has an impact on our daily life, behaviour and attitudes.

This book is a handy reference guide to keep around the house in case of doubts, particularly when unusual things happen. Fr Menezes is a prolific writer in Konkani, Hindi, and English, and has written more than a dozen self-help books and over 500 articles aimed at improving the quality of life.

Copies of the book are available at Jerosa Company in Hampankatta, Sangathi Media (Vitori Karkal) in Kankanady and Infant Jesus Shrine in Bikkarnakatta.
