Udupi, Jun 6: Renowned yakshagana bhagawata K J Ganesh and his troupe staged a yakshagana episode at Poornaprajna College auditorium here on Thursday June 5.
Mythological Yashagana episode, 'Vishwakarma Mahatme', was presented by the troupe to a packed audience.
Sri Vishwakarmateerta Swamiji of Katpady Math inaugurated the show by lighting the lamp. Senior artiste Ambatanaya Mudrady presided over the programme.
M K Ramesh Acharya, T G Acharya, Mumbai, S V Acharya, Mangalore, Alevoor Madhava Acharya and others were present.
Well-known yakshagana artistes of Badagutittu school also graced the occasion, to encourage and inspire promising young artistes who donned roles in this performance.
