Acting assistant director of the district youth services and sports department  Pandurang has informed, that the sports residential school will start operations anytime between 10th and 15th of this month.

The school should have been opened last year itself, as necessary infrastructure had been readied last year itself. The school will start operations  at the zilla panchayath sports hostel located near Mangala stadium in the city.

The school aims at providing athletic and volleyball coaching to students studying in fifth standard and hailing from rural places.
