Sullia: Doctor Collapses Treating Chikungunya Patients

Sullya, Jun 3: A doctor is reported to have collapsed owing to exhaustion while treating long lines of Chikun Gunya patients recently.

76 year old Dr P V Subba Rao had to treat hundreds of Chikun gunya cases since the last several days, as the disease has been spreading rapidly here. Moreover, the patients had been vying with one another to get the treatment at the earliest. Dr P V Subba Rao collapsed in his clinic while treating the patients, owing to exhaustion and high blood pressure.

Later he was taken to a hospital. Dr Rao has started seing the patients again after convalescing for a couple of days, sources said.

    A request to the health department that, dont you have young,heathy and enthusiastic doctors to serve and treat chikungunya patients in sick town of Sullia, having so many medical institutions run by Mr.KVG.
