Al Qaeda terrorist arrested in Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS): An Al Qaeda terrorist has been arrested in the national capital, police said on Monday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police P.S. Kushwah told IANS the terrorist, Shumon Haq, was arrested near Shakarpur area of east Delhi on Sunday.

The police officer said Haq has been an operative of Al Qaeda for the last four years.
