Mangalore: ‘DK Will Play Dominant Role in State if BJP Wins’

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (MM)

Mangalore, May 13: Dakshina Kannada will play dominant role in the state if BJP comes to power, said Padmanabh Acharya, BJP observer for coastal Karnataka.

Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, May 13, he said that, the sea shore of coastal Karnataka is the biggest blessing for the people here. But it has been totally neglected by the rulers so far. Moreover, Tulu language has been fully neglected and proper status is rejected for this language. But the voice of people of Dakshina Kannada should be heard properly, he opined.

Maximum utilization of sea routes for transportation, installing wind power generation machines, encouraging the NRIs who hail from this coastal area to invest in social projects etc could be done for the development of coastal Karnataka. BJP will definitely deliver better governance after it comes to power, he assured.

“Congress has been involved in misleading the voters that, BJP is the enemy of minorities. But the Congress is pleasing minorities only for their votes and it is practicing pseudo secularism in the country. Therefore, fight between BJP and Congress is fight between nationalism and pseudo secularism,” he opined.

BJP has a clear economic policy for the development of the nation and it does not follow any foreign model. Integral humanism is also a political philosophy of the party, he cleared.

BJP leaders Colonel Shanmugam, Anwar Manippadi, Jagadeesh Shenava, Ramesh, Nitinkumar, Shanker Bhat and others were present at press meet.
