Mangalore: Thirteen Candidates Withdraw Nominations in DK

Mangalore May 3: A total of 13 candidates have withdrawn their nomination papers in six constituencies of Dakshina Kannada district.

Out of the eight candidates in Mangalore North constituency, two have withdrawn their nominations. They are Mumtaz Ali (Congress) and M K Haneef.

Of the 8 candidates in Mangalore South constituency, Independent candidates Bhaskar Rao has withdrawn his paper while in Mangalore constituency, independent candidate Usman has done the same.

Out of the 8 candidates in Bantwal constituency Aminabi Sheikh and Dolphy Prashanth D'Souza have withdrawn their nominations while Abdul Rehaman, Agari Jeevan Bhandary, Jagadish Shetty Nellikatte, Abdul Aziz and K H Ashraf Kallege did the same in Puttur.

Two independent candidates Venkappa Nayak and Sallamohan Kumar have withdrawn their nominations in the Beltangady constituency.
