Bantwal, Apr 29: ‘Matharo Chorbela’ a Konkani drama was organized by Jhelo Konkani monthly magazine near here on Monday April 29.
The programme began with the release of book entitled ‘Mogacho Ghath’ written by Edward Serrao of Alangar Moodbidri.
It was released by Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy award winner Francis Fernandes Cassia.
On the occasion he was honoured by Fr Cyprian Pinto, parish priest of Loretto church.
Also present at the event were assistant parish priest of Modankap Nelson D’Almedia and Joy Paladka, director of the drama.
Editor of Jhelo monthly magazine Francis Saldanha (Panchu Bantwal), welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks.
