Beltangady, Apr 28: Vehicular traffic was disrupted on Charmadi Ghat (NH 48) as Moodigere-bound plywood-laden lorry overturned here on Sunday April 27.
As per the eyewitnesses, the accident occured when the driver of the lorry tried to negotiate the eighth hairpin curve in an abrupt manner, subsequently losing control over the vehicle in the bargain.
No loss of lives has been reported in the mishap. Attempts are on to clear the traffic.
