M'lore: Unique Programme ‘Megharaga’ to be Unveiled Today

Mangalore, Apr 27: A novel programme on Charmadi Ghat area and surrounding will be conducted by Vanya Charana Balaga here on Sunday April 27, informs a press release.

This unique programme ‘Megharaga’ will be inaugurated by veteran artist P Purushotham Kamath. Akashvani programme  executive Vasanth Kumar Perla will be presiding over the function.

The press release further informs that poet and artist Suryakanth Nanduru, folklorist Sukri Bomma Gowda from Ankola, Lakshmi Venkatramana temple trustee Valamba Narayana Gowda will be the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Moreover, nearly 18 artists will be painting the enchanging scenes of Charmadi Ghat, and the same number of poets will also present poems, the release adds.

Further-more there will be a flute concert by artiste K Muralidhar, folk songs by Sukri Bomma Gowda, nature songs by theatre personality Sheena Nadoli.
