This is the fantastic move, all the mainstream parties had betrayed the interests of the minority communities and Dalits. Hence, I am sure KFD would put up candidates to protect the interests of these sections.

Mr. Mohammad Ali, Mr. Nihad Udupi, Mr. Ibrahim Mangalore, Mr. Cyril Mathias, Mr. Hussain Udupi and Mr. Mohammed Udupi have rightly said that KFD is going to help BJP gaining more seats in the district by fielding their candidates. I earlier thought KFD is a forum to protect the rights of minorities in the state but as Mr. Ibrahim has rightly said, it seems that they are looking to gain political benefit and thus making it easy for BJP to earn more seats.

I hope the office bearers of KFD will re-think about their decision and lend its support to Congress, though Congress has not done much for the minorities. Otherwise BJP will come to power in the state which will be huge setback for the minorities.

I totally agree with Mr. Mohammed Ali & Mr. Nihad. its sure that KFD candidates will enjoy some of muslim votes which affect congress candidates in getting majority. Definerly BJP will get the chance to gear up. It is recommended and strongly advised to withdraw their nominations and extend the full support to the able candidates who are already in the field and familiar to the voters.
