Udupi: 'Old Man' Wins Hearts of Thousands in Shirva

Shirva, Apr 26: 'Mhataro Chorbela,' a comedy play written by well known Konkani dramatist Francis Cascia was staged at Saud Church Auditorum at Shirva on Saturday, April 26 evening.


This drama has already been staged 9 times in Mumbai and Dubai. This is the first show of 'Mhataro Chorbela' staged in coastal Karnataka. The gulf- returned old man has been successful here in winning the hearts of thousands of viewers.













 

Renowned actors Joy Paladka, Betty Naaz, Edwin Baanz, Pete Pais, Gregory Sequeira, Julie Vaz, Shanthi Barboza, Flora D'Souza and Jyothi D'Souza played key roles in this drama.

Earlier, John Monis welcomed the gathering. The sponsors were honoured on the occasion. The 'Old Man' will entertain audiences at Bendore, Bantwal, Moodbelle, Neermarga, Niddodi, Katipalla, Brahmavar, Moodbidri and Nakre from Sunday, April 27 onwards.
