Udupi: Valuables worth Rs 3 Lac stolen from Cell Phone Shop

Udupi Apr 22:  Miscreants who were successful to break into the newly-opened mobile sales and service shop managed to decamp with 25 mobile phones and other valuables worth Rs 3 lac on Monday April 21 night.

The theft took place in Pooja Cell Solution situated at Johar building by Shankarpura Road at Katapadi.  The shop is owned by Prabhakar Shetty and it was opened only two months ago. 

Theft came to light only on Tuesday April 22 morning. Kaup circle inspector Vinay and inspector Joy Anthony have visited the spot. Sniffer dogs and forensic experts too were summoned to the spot.  Meanwhile the police have registered a case in this regard.
