Bantwal Apr 22: Konkani Yuva Awaz organized a free medical check up camp in Prithesh Hall here in association with A J Hospital, Mangalore on Sunday April 20.

Heart check up, ECG and check up for diabetics and other hormone-related health problems were treated along with general medical check up. Those in need of further treatment and diagnosis were referred to A J Hospital, Mangalore. Hundreds of people from Bantwal and the neighboring rural places participated in this camp.

Dr Ganesh H K, Dr Sudhesh Shetty, Dr Purushotham and other team members from A J Hospital were present in this camp.

Denis D'Silva, general secretary, Konkani Yuva Awaz, local organizers Richard Menezes and Rajesh D'Costa of Agrar were present during the camp and took care of hospitality.

Roshan Castelino, president of Konkani Yuva Awaz welcomed the gathering.  Noel Lobo Mogarnad proposed vote of thanks. Arun Ajekar compered the programme.
