Karkala, Apr 21: Well-known Kannada film star Ravichandran participated in the centenary celebrations of the Government Higher Primary School of Ajekar on Sunday, April 20 evening which was presided over by entrepreneur G Shivaram Shetty, president of the centenary celebrations committee.

Ravichandran spent almost three hours with the students and faculty here, recalling his school days while interacting with them. 

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the dull students should not be made to sit in the last bench. Instead, he suggested, they should be allowed to mingle with the first bench students. 

Moreover in his lecture, he advised the students to place their trust on their parents and teachers who have a hand in shaping their future. 
 
Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva's Education Foundation, well-known litterateur Kabbinale Vasantkumar Bharadwaj, entrepreneur Prakash Shetty, centenary committee working president Deviprasad Shetty, school headmaster Manjunath Nayak and school betterment committee president Prasannakumar were present on the occasion.
