Karkala: Family Rivalry Results in Murder, Two in Custody

Karkala, Apr 17: A person was reported to be brutally murdered at Nadpal in Someshwar near Hebri on Thursday, April 17.

The deceased person has been identified as Sanjeeva Koraga (37), resident of Nadpal. He was hacked to death with a sickle, sources said. His waist was severely injured and he died owing to heavy loss of blood.

Sources added that, the murder was committed by a certain Madhu who is now absconding. Hebri police have take into custody Divakar Naika and Anita, a teacher on charges of instigating Madhu to commit the murder. Family rivalry resulted in the heinous crime, police sources said.
