Mangalore, Apr 17: New Age India Forum (NAIF) will hold a 15-day drive across the district on the theme 'Know Prophet of the Mankind' from April 18 to May 2.
Mohammad Hanif Natekal, convener (education wing of NAIF) informed news persons here on Thursday April 17 that the drive will disseminate principles of true Islam and universal brotherhood. The drive will also aim at inspiring people to participate in constructing a society based on peace and communal harmony, he added.
The drive will feature discussions, public meet, corner meetings, distributing handbills and books on the messages of Prophet Mohammed to mankind, Mohammad Hanif informed.
The drive will be flagged off by Abdul Aziz Maulvi, cleric of Noor Masjid at Hamapanakatta and will conclude at Town Hall, he elaborated.
Other office-bearers of NAIF were present at the press conference.
