Kundapur, Apr 16: Kannada film actor Upendra recently paid a visit to his ancestral house in Hodrali of Tekktte near Koteshwar here. He had come with his family to redeem a vow he had taken earlier to propitiate the 'Naga Devaru' (Snake God).

After fulfilling this vow by way of  carrying out all the customary rituals, the well-known actor visited Uma Maheshwara temple of Koteshwar. Once there, he along with his wife Priyanka and two children offered special pooja at the Shri Koti Lingeshwara temple.

As this visit of the Kannada actor to the place of his birth was purely personal, he expressed his desire to keep the visit private and therefore did not meet the  media.
