Kundapur: KRV Stages Protest Urging Arrest of Assaulter

Kundapur, Apr 11: Activists of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, a forum to protect the interests of the state, staged a protest in front of Kollur police outpost recently and urged the police to nab the person who allegedly assaulted Nagaraja Naik, an activist of the forum, during a chariot festival at Kollur recently. 

The forum alleged that Nagaraja Naik was attacked when he was watching a programme organized by the Vedike as  part of the chariot festival here.

Suresh Poojary, Vishwanath Padukone, Shridar Sherugara, Subramanya Byndoor, Sarfraj Nagooru and leaders of the Vedike submitted a memorandum to the SP of Udupi district through circle inspector of Byndoor police station urging him to take action in the matter.
