Two held for killing youth who opposed drug use

New Delhi, June 7 (IANS): Two persons were arrested on Wednesday for killing a 24-year-old man after he and his mother objected to their drugs consumption in a public toilet.

Deputy Commissioner of Police M.N. Tiwari identified the two as Sonu, 24, and Sahil, 23, both residents of Nangloi in west Delhi.

Tiwari said the suspects were wearing blood-stained clothes at the time of arrest and had a blood-stained knife on them.

The deceased, Rahul, used to work at a public toilet near Nangloi Metro station with his mother.

"On Tuesday evening, a person came to use the toilet. Rahul's mother saw he was taking drugs and raised objections," a police officer said. Rahul supported his mother.

The man left but came back later with two others and stabbed Rahul to death.
