Mangalore: 'Hinduism should Not be Used for Selfish Motives'

Mangalore, Apr 8: Hinduism is not a caste or creed but the value by which life should be led, said RSS city division head Suresh Parkala recently.

Speaking at the inaugural function of Sri Balakrishna Temple Kumpala and common laksha tulsi puja, he said that one must understand the meaning of Hinduism and should not use the word for selfish motives.

Deralakatte Ayyappa temple president Sitaram Dadas inaugurated the religious programme, industrialist Santhosh Kumar Rai presided over the function.

On the occasion industrialists Prasanna K, Divakar Bagambila, B K Sudhakar Kumpal, Bhaskar Devasya were the chief guests. Temple building committee president Keshavdas, Jayalakshmi were present.

Temple president Satish Kumar welcomed the gathering while Nagesh M R proposed the vote of thanks.
