Udupi: Project to Beautify City to Begin on Apr 20

Udupi, Apr 8: The first phase of ‘Sundara Udupi Sri Krishnana Udupi,’ a project to beautify the city, will be launched on April 20, said Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji of Paryaya Puttige here on Monday April 7. 

According to a press release Swamiji said that the first phase of Sundara Udupi Sri Krishnana Udupi will be launched around Sri Krishna Math and on Car Street.

Arrangements have been made to clean the street regularly and to implement the programme effectively a ‘Sundara Sena’ will be made which will include volunteers and traders, the release added.

    NICE TO HEAR ABOUT THE PROJECT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF ONLY NAMED 'SUNDARA UDUPI'. BECAUSE IT IS ALSO 'KANAKANA UDUPI'.
